Liliana teaches all levels of Spanish at SIL. She was born and raised in Mexico and received her Masters Degree in Latin American and Peninsular Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Liliana taught at Wayne State for two years and also worked as a Proofreading Coordinator, Editor, and Product Manager for Teacher's Discovery, a company that markets educational materials for foreign language classes.

Seeing students progress from beginning levels to hearing them expressing their own opinions in the language is one of the more rewarding aspects of teaching for her. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.
